Stripping of Floors
Stripping off old finish from floors
requires special safety precautions.
You must ALWAYS Post wet floor signs and
restrict access to stripping areas by using
appropriate barriers.
Stripping solutions are slippery, wear
appropriate footwear when stripping.
Use cool/cold water for diluting strippers for
maximum performance and lowest odor.
Wear appropriate eye and skin protection.
Clothing (pants, socks, shirts) that get wet with
stripper should be removed promptly. Skin
irritation or chemical burns could result.
Sealing of Floors
After stripping, sometimes a sealer is
applied before applying floor finish.
