 RULE 1
When the final sound of the verb doesn’t have VIBRATION of the
vocal cords, the /s/ of the verb has no vibration. The
pronunciation is /s/.
e. g. He walks to school.
My friend wants a new mobile.

 RULE 2
When the final sound of the verb has vibration of the vocal folds,
the /s/ sound continues with the vibration. We pronounce it /z/.

E.G. The boy comes on Mondays.

Listen and repeat the third person verb forms.

 /s/ She speaks Spanish.


He drinks coffee.
