 INSPECTION OF PLATES
STEPS INVOLVED FOR INSPECTION OF PLATE
 To Verify Purchase Order of Plates.
 Inspection to be carried out pertaining to QAP and Testing
requirement for Plates.
 To Verify Mill Material Test certificate as per ASME Codes and TDC
requirement and Project Specification.
 To Co-relate marking of Plates as per Specified in Mill Test certificate
and general requirements of marking to be fulfilled as per Code
requirements.
 Before Inspection, All Instruments to be verified with calibration
certificate and Calibrated due date.
 To Verify Dimension and Thickness Tolerances as per ASME code
requirements With help of D-meter and Vernier Caliper.
