• LPG stands for “Liquefied Petroleum Gas”
• Mixture of two prominent light hydrocarbons namely
Propane and Butane

 VOT Type
• Uses Vapour Off-Take (VOT) type cylinders which extract external
heat through their walls thereby vapourizing LPG liquid
• Advisable to have at least 2 manifold arms i.e. one operating and
one standby
• Manifold shed requirement of 10 sq mtr. onwards depending upon
size of manifold

• Uses Liquid Off-Take (LOT) type cylinders
• Vaporizer converts LPG liquid into LPG vapour
• Manifold designed as per IS 6044 Part I & II and SMPV rules
