INTRODUCTION
 Hospitality industry is a part of a larger enterprise known as travel and
tourism industry. Its goal is to provide necessary and desired services.

 Tourism in India is being considered as the rich cultural and historical


heritage, variety in ecology, terrains and places of natural beauty spread
across the country. Its FEEs increases to US$ 2.55 billion.

 Growth rate is 16% expected to reach 27.16 thousand crore in


2020,contributes about 7.1 GDP and its turn over is 73.8%.
The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. It is present in 12 countries across 4 continents including India north
America , United Kingdom , Africa, etc.

The group has a port folio of about 165 hotels including 20 under developed properties.

Incorporated by the founder of tata groups , Jamsetji tata in 1903,the company is a part of the Tata
Group, one of India’s largest business.

Headquaters at express towers, Narima Point in Mumbai.

As of 2018, the company operates a total of 100 hotels,84 in India and 16 abroad.
