3. Before going to the site, a visitor or a contractor must undergo first to safety orientation.

4. In Republic Cement there are designated pedestrian lanes, to ensure safety for the
employees, contractors and visitors. The PPE’s must be ware as you walk along the designated
pedestrian lanes.

5. Headlights of the vehicle must be open, when entering the plant.

6. Wearing reap jeans is not allowed in the plant.

Perceived by the company:
1. The raw materials coming to Vertical Roller Mill (VRM) is wet, the raw materials cause to
build up in rotor.
2. The belt use in conveying system are always disrupted due to foreign materials like
metals, and weak joints.
3. The misalignment of bucket elevator due to wear of the rubber in the pulley.
4. Damage of motor, due to high vibration.
 PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED

1. Clogging in the pipelines
2. Lack of tools and equipment for the mechanics
3. Proper budget allotment in the maintenance of conveyor belts
4. Some department becomes superior, and lacks of recognition to other department

 RECOMMENDATION:
• Inspection and cleaning of pipeline more often to prevent clogging.
• Put insulation or cover on the pipeline of finish product cement to prevent build up on the
line because of moisture and exposure of the pipeline in the atmosphere.
