RATE OF APPROVAL FOR STUDENT’S OF (ROTC)

ON UNIVERSITY’S AND OTHER SCHOOLS


INTRODUCTION

The (ROTC) Reserve Officers' Training Corps is a group of college and


university-based officer training programs for training commissioned officers of the
United States Armed Forces
 It was promulgated by the 12th Congress of the Philippines on 23 of January 2002.
Modeled from the US in 1916 during the time the Philippines was under their
occupation, military training was introduced to the Philippines.
In 2018, US had the most number of armies worldwide, with 2,363,675. A consistent
increase is noted since the last five years.
Meanwhile, in the country, there are only 59,637 graduates from both basic and
advanced training of the ROTC in 2015-2016. In 2017-2018, it reached a low of
46,936.

A STUDY OF REDUCING THE MINOR SUBJECT OF
THE COLLEGE STUDENT’S
INTRODUCTION

College is a place of higher learning after high school that provides education and
grants degrees or certification. College is where a student picks his/her chosen course and
study it for 3 to 5 years (base on the chosen course) for him/her to be ready on its journey/
career.
By reducing the minor subjects on college, students can be more focus on their chosen
course. They can be more ready to take their board exam and have a high percentage of
passing. This may also help the college students to money.
