Design and Style

Aprilia SR150 has got sporty looks that would steal your
attention in one go. The aggressive looks are reflected from its
twin headlights which are placed on the front apron with the
red and black graphics. Moving on it features a short yet
slightly high tail and a red-black seat. To complete it there are
32mm telescopic forks upfront along with large 14-inch wheels
at both ends. Aprilia doesn't have a too wide or long foot-
board isn't too wide or long but it is intact with its sportiness.
The new Aprilia SR 150 has been designed with steel frame for
better safety measures. The seating is quite tall resulting into a
challenge for shorter riders. A softer padding on the seat could
have made rides more comfortable for longer rides.
Engine and Gearbox
To power the sporty Aprilia SR150 is the 154.8cc, air-cooled
single cylinder engine, the one which is there on the Vespa
150. This engine can generate 10.4 Bhp of maximum power
at 6750 rpm against a maximum torque of 11.4 Nm at 5000
rpm. You would feel that SR150 is light to ride with a brisk
acceleration, specially when you go up the rev range. Also,
cutting through the traffic is easy while riding through
country roads. Another fact about SR150 that would
surprise you is its good mid range grunt along with its
ability to pull beyond 70kmph where most scooters simply
run of steam. The SR150 is one of the only scooters that
will be able to go beyond 100 kmph on the speedometer.
Ride and Handling
Well, already said so much of its sportiness and
engine performance. The nimble Aprilia SR 150
wouldn't disappoint you when it comes to taking
quick turns, leaning into corners. This is also due to its
14-inch wheels and grippy tyres which prove out to be
a brilliant handler. You may experience a bit of
stiffness on the the suspension setup but this would
support cornering and offer you good ground
clearance which in other scooters would just scrape
the stand or the exhaust on leaning too much
