Introduction
Indeed there are more than7,107 reasons to travel
around the Philippines to explore the bounties and
beauties as well as the hospitable and friendly
faces of the people found in each and every island
of the Philippines whether it is traveled by air,
land or sea, its the experience that really matters
which have brought life to the travel agencies. It
was a privilege to be accomplish our on the job
training at one of the prestigious travel agency in
Bacolod, the Jaunts and Journeys Travel Centre.
This presentation is mostly dedicated to our
beloved teachers and to people in the industry
who gave their unwavering support to teach us
and to be a part of journey towards achieving
our professional degree.
In this regards, we acknowledge the
goodness and unselfishness of JJTC owner
and staff who made our on the job training
experiences substantially successful.

 Jaunts & Journeys Travel Centre was awarded the
Plaque of Recognition as Top Operator for year 2000-
2001, bringing the most number of tourists in the
province of Cebu by DOT & Ayala Centre Cebu.

 It was awarded by the SuperFerry Philippines the Cash


Prize, Plaque of Recognition, Trophy and an
International Travel privilege for being the top outlet for
the years 2000, 2001 and 2002 in the entire Negros Island.
The Negros Occidental Private Schools, Sports, Cultural
Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) endorsed us as the
official travel agency for all Private Schools in Negros
Occidental for the school year 2003-2004.
 These awards & citations have inspired us to
continue to grow. We already opened a branch at
room 507-A Kahirup Bldg. Guanco St. Iloilo City
and at 61 Real Cor. Sta. Rosa St. Dumaguete
City, Negros Oriental. In fact, recently we
launched our Ticket Express promo, a door to
door delivery of tickets (Cebu Pacific, PAL, Air
Philippines,
 Supercat, SuperFerry) within Bacolod City.

Passporting, boat charters, seminars,


conventions, events management are among our
other services. We also offers International
airline ticketing, Asian cruises and International
tour packages.
 This year 2010, in partnership of the
Department of Tourism Officer Richard
Gordons "Biyahe tayo WOW Phils. Program",
it decided to design travel packages for
Government officials & DILG units known as "
Lakbay Aral" as part of their familiarization
exposure to the beauty of Islands Philippines.
 Operated by the best and the most dynamic
veterans in the travel industry, Jaunts and
Journeys Travel Centre have been able to prove
our expertise by giving the best quality service to
all our clients that had booked in them. Indeed, if
you are looking for personalized service, this is the
right place. Definitely, great value for your money.
Practicum Trainings
Training for Amadeus System

It was a privileged for us to be trained with
Amadeus system by one of the staff in
Jaunts and Journeys because it used by
many travel agents nationwide. We we’re
exposed on the overview of the system and
how to use codes for reservations, special
services additions and to view the
availability of the ticket class for both
outbound and inbound flights of different
airlines both local and international.

 We are servicing

the passengers
via internet and
through sub
agents as well.
Answering Phone Calls
We have experienced
practicing our
Communication Skills
through phone calls
and we are assessed as
well by their regular
staff about the
passengers infos. that
should be gathered in
conversation.
Accommodating Walk-In Clients
 Most of the time,
clients are asking
questions about ticket
fares and promos, sea
tranport fares,tours
and about the
documents needed
abroad. Others are
students who inquire
for educational tours
and giving their
