Sine Law

The ratio of the length of one side of the


triangle and the sine value of its opposite
angle is equal to the ratios of the lengths of
the other sides and the sine values of their
opposite angles.
Consider triangle ABC.
 

Sine Law can be expressed as:


 
If two angles and a length of one side of
the oblique triangle are given, Sine Law is
appropriate to be used. This is the case of
ASA or SAA triangle which is solvable by
Sine Law.
