 Keeps in touch with the achievements of
students
Role in Supervision :-

 Supervise the work of the school

 Supervise instructional work
 Supervise the activities going on in the
playground, hall,art room, library,workshops etc
 Supervise the behaviour of students
 Provide facilities to maintain cleanliness of the
campus etc
Role in Guidance :-
 Show the correct path to the students
 Guide the teachers in the methods of teaching
and organisation of activities
 Organize Guidance cell
 Guide parents and higher authorities etc
Role in Maintaining Relations :-

 Relations with the staff

 Relations with the pupils
 Relations with the parents Relations with the
community
 Role in General Administration :-

Responsible for all that is being done in or by the

school
Issue necessary orders and get their compliance
Ensure teachers and pupils attend their duties
punctually and regularly
Ensure human and materials resources of the school
are adequate
 Make purchases in accordance with the prescribed
official information and correspondence
