SHS Master Teacher I
 Observation notes are part of the PPST –
RPMS
 Shall be prepared by the class observer –
Master Teacher, Head Teacher or School
Principal
 Should be done from the start until the end of
the class
 Should be comprehensive as possible.
 Observers should refrain from talking or
conversing with co-observers
Prior to Class Observations
 Conduct the Pre-conference
 Check the content of the DLL
 Objectives/Learning competencies must be aligned
with the CG
 Note some suggestions or corrections when
necessary
 Must agree with the date when to be observed
 The indicators to be observed must be set.

 be clear, direct, and specific
 be in line with specific indicator being
observed
 be comprehensive, showing the positive
and negative points
 reflect points need to be improved and
further enhancement
 highlight key learning episodes
Observation Notes must…
 be enough to support the rating
performance of the observed teacher
 must be confidential and not be shared to
anyone
 should serve as feedback to the teacher for
improvement
