Work shifts – Shop Calendars
Working hours in a factory are break down into more
than one shifts.
We usually start with one shift
If work centers must work over their planned
capacity then we need to add shifts.
We assume that our factory operates from Monday to
Friday

time and shift.
We will change the ending time to 15:59:59 in all days.
Each time the system will confirm the change.

Work Centers which are involved in the production of

bicycles

And also the capacity planning

Good practice not give machine center a name of the employee

Routings (BOR – Bill of Resources)
Routings are used to show which work and machine centres
take part in the production of one unit of measure of a
specific product.
Various times that can be considered in a routing (setup,
run, wait, move etc.)
The labour, machinery, and tooling elements of
manufacturing can be as crucial as the component
materials you use. These are the elements that can cause
production to come to a crawl and cause costs to far exceed
projections. The TRAVERSE Routing and Resources
application provides the functionality to define these
important pieces of your manufacturing software solution.
Routings (BOR – Bill of
Resources)

Product Design  Lists–
Routings.

Production BOMs show which semi-finished (produced) and
purchased items are needed (in quantity) for the production
of one unit of measure of the item produced.
In a similar way to the routings, although production BOMs
are not directly connected to Items (only indirectly through
the item replenishment tab), for simplicity we tend to use for
the production BOM the Item No. that is produced using the
specific BOM.
