• The book is about a wealthy man named Jay Gatsby. Gatsby has many rumours
spreading about him, as no one really knows who he is. As well, he throws lavish
parties quite often in which uninvited guests are welcomed with open arms. Later in
the novel, we learn that Gatsby holds these parties in search of his lost lover, Daisy
Buchanan.
One reason that I enjoyed reading this novel is Fitzgerald is
