on July 20, 2001, and in
Russia on December 31, 2002.
In South Korea the animated
film collected $11,382,770 in 5
weeks of a hire, and in France
- $6,326,294 in 11 weeks
ISSUE
The film tells us about a 10-
year-old girl named Tihiro
Ogino who is moving into a
new home. But it comes out
that it falls into another world
populated by ghosts and
monsters. After her parents are
turned into pigs by the witch
Yubaba, Tihiro goes to work in
the Yubaba bath to find a way
to free herself and her parents,
and return to the human world.

Takakhata together with whom


he founded animation studio
Studio Ghibli subsequently.
Throughout a long time they
together worked on a set of
works of art.
