– Body Mass Index refers to the measurements of one’s


weight relative to one’s height.

30.0 – 40.0 Obese
Greater than 40Morbidly Obese
Skinfold Test
Other people refers to the proportion of their fat tissue and
their lean tissue. Try to pinching the skin under your arm.

A Skinfold Caliber is an instruments that is measures


the thickness of folds of skin, or the layer of fat tissue on
different parts of your body.
Cardiorespiratory Endurance

Beep Test is a multistage fitness that uses a special


recording to indicate when you should begin to run towards
the marker or cone found on the other side of the court.
Flexibility

Sit and Reach Flexibility Test


It measure the combined flexibility of the legs, specifically the
hamstring muscles, and the lower back.
Muscle Endurance and Muscle
Strength

Muscular endurance and muscular strength are two


different fitness components but measure one
aspect of your body: your muscle fitness.
Muscular endurance is the number of repetitions
you can lift a relative light weight, body weight or
free weight. Muscular Strength is the most
amount of weight that you can lift.
Push Ups

Most reliable tool for assessing muscular


endurance. Push ups involve the chest, shoulder and
triceps, with the core muscles providing stability.
When doing push ups, there are major rules
regarding the form: 1) the body should move as a
single plane, meaning there should be no bending
of joints in the back: 2) no jerky movements.
Muscle Strength

Muscular Strength test basically measuring how strong you are. Often
times, this health – component of fitness is the most difficult to
develop because it takes time for the muscles to gain strength.
