WHAT IS EMOTIONAL FIRST-AID?

▪ Is given to someone who is unable to calm or


soothe themselves.
▪ Techniques that allow a return to a calmer state.
▪ Can be used with one person or a group.
▪ Helps prevent symptoms of post-traumatic
stress (PTS) and long-term effects of trauma.
