Dräger-Tubes®

Short-Term Tubes
Dräger-Tube® gas detection
Short-term tubes

 Dräger-Tubes are measurement instruments for detection of

airborne pollutants
 Short-term tubes are intended for the measurement of
momentary concentrations. The measurement result is only
applicable to the location and time of the measurement
 The Dräger-Tube consists of a small glass tube. The tube tips
are fused on both ends. The tube contains a chemical
preparation that reacts with the substance to be measured
 To perform a measurement the tips of the tubes will be opened
and the tube will be inserted into a das detection pump.
Squeezing the pump the air to be measured will be sucked
through the tube. The chemical reagent discolored cause by the
substance to be measured
 We differentiate between scale tubes and color comparison
tubes
