Term Explanation:
Gray optical modules, gray optical modules, and white optical modules: Refer to optical modules with the transmit wavelength of 1330 nm or 1550 nm.
Colored optical module: A series of optical modules that comply with CWDM or DWDM Protocol.
Wavelength division multiplexing (WDM): Transmit multiple optical waves with different wavelengths synchronously in a single fiber.
It makes full use of the large bandwidth resources in the low loss area of the single-mode optical fiber. Using the multiplexer, it combines the optical waves of
different wavelengths at the transmit end, and then transmits the signals to the single-mode optical fiber. In the receiving part, the demultiplexer adopts the
multiplexing method of separating the optical waves of different wavelengths. Because the optical waves of different wavelengths are independent of each
other, the bidirectional transmission can be solved.
Different number of wavelengths can be multiplexed using different wavelength division multiplexers (demultiplexers or multiplexers).
According to the different channel spacing, WDM can be classified into Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) and Dense Wavelength Division
Multiplexing (DWDM).

AAU5310 is mainly delivered to Korea, where the Centralize RAN scenario is used.
The power supply solution of the AAU5310 must be adopted in the outdoor. Blade power supplies and blade
batteries are recommended.
Blade power supply and blade battery in the wireless configurator are OPM30 VB and TBD.
Blade power supply and blade battery in the energy configurator are DPU40D and DBU40B.
In some scenarios, the AAU power supply distance is long. When the existing DCDU-12B, EPU02D-02, or APU
does not meet the requirements, AC power supply is recommended. The power supply and battery of the AC
blade are deployed under the tower.

Solution features
Precision: The base station obtains the air clock source
directly, so the precision is high.
Reliability: There is no single point of failure, and the
impact scope is small.
Security: Only use the air clock source, which brings
security risks.
Deployment period: Deployed at the site, so the
deployment period is relatively short.
O&M: Easy to locate the fault.
Cost: GPS is required for each site, so the hardware
cost is high.
