Ordinary building
Ordinary building is the building up to 2 floors and with less than 4 dwelling units in
case of residential and in the case of commercial building the floor areas is less than
300 m2.
Special building
Special building means; Residential :-
More than 2 floors not exceeding 4 floors inclusive of ground floor not more than
G+3 (or) basement/ stilt + 4 floors total height should be less than 15 m
Building with more than 4 dwelling units
A building accommodating commercial (or) industrial (or) institutional (or)
combination of such activities exceeding a floor area of 300 sq.m.
Multi-storeyed building
Multi-storeyed building means a building exceeding 4 floors (including ground floor
or if this ground floor is used for parking under stilts, stilts floor + 4 floors) whose
height is 15 m or more.

Group Development
The spaces between any two blocks of g+1 building shall be 3.5 m
for the ventilation purpose and shall not be used for any other
purpose.
The spaces between any two blocks of g+1 building which is used as
an access way. The minimum space of 6 m shall be maintained.

* Open Space Reservation

PART – II
Dimension : The dimension of parking stall shall be 5.0m x 2.5m
with a minimum which width of driveway of 3.5m for
one way movement and 7.2m width for two way
movement. In the case of ware house and godowns
and industries the dimension of parking stall shall be
10m x 3.75m with a minimum width of driveway of
3.75m. The number of car spaces required will be
calculated on 75% of the total floor
area of the building.
