 Heater general inspection (internal and external)
 Refractory condition inspection and repair if needed
 Inspection coils condition for leak or damaged
 All gas paths inspection and cleaning
 Blower compartment inspection and cleaning
 Burner tip, tube and diffuser inspection and cleaning or replace
 Remove all accumulated soot from heater different
compartments.
 Doing hydro jet cleaning.
 Perform Hydro test.
 All measuring instruments function  test and
cleaning.
 Power and control cables retightening.
 Control panels wiring check and vacuum

cleaning.
 Electrical motors bearing check…etc.
 We found part of the

insulator
4 drums of ash and
damaged refractory had Ash found accumulated
been removed out from in ash receiving
deferent heater compartment

 The heater was
opened and visually
inspected from
inside and the
attached photo show
the bundle tubes as
found .

were carried out
 All of the three
heater soot blowing
compartments were
opened for
inspection and
cleaning ,the
attached photo show
the condition found.

 The heater thermoil
bundles were tested
to 10 bar for 1 hours
and the result was
satisfactory no any
sign of pressure
drop or leak.
 All cracks found in
the thermal
insulation have been
removed and
rehabilitated
 The register was
found in a good
condition.
 We found the
diffuser covered with
carbon and part of it
broken
 The old nozzle was
cleaned and the diffuser
was replaced by new one.
 The attached photos
shows the main gun after
reinstalled.
 Service team complete Most of the service
successfully but they stopped without completion
due to delayed arrival of the spare part (diffuser).
 The maintenance team at the station completed the
work successfully after receiving the (diffuser).
 Operation start the heater for test now running ok.
 A high pressure water jet is highly required to get
excellent cleaning results in a short time.
 An advance training for some of mechanical and
electrical staff is essential .
