Install ZOOM application on your phone and go to ZOOM. If you want to change your name, go to setting > click on your account > choose “Display Name” and you can type your name. To join the meeting, choose “join” and type meeting ID and Password in the given box. Wait for a while, your teacher will let you in. Click “Call via Device Audio” to join the audio. So, you can hear voice and others will hear when you are talking. Click “Start Video” to turn on video. (You have to turn video on during class time) If you have nothing to talk about, click “mute” (microphone icon). If you want to talk, click “unmute” again. When you want to share something, click “Share” with green arrow. Then, you can choose the category that you want to share. If you have something to say when teacher is teaching, click “more” with 3 dots on the right at the bottom of your screen and choose “Raise Hand”. When you want to tell something, choose “Chat”. When you want to write something on the whiteboard, you will see pen sign on the left corner. Choose that and you can draw what you want on whiteboard. If you want to type on whiteboard, your teacher will give permission to you. You will see “tap here … remotely”. Choose that, and then choose keyboard and you can finally type. Using Google Classroom (on phone) You can download “G Classroom WebMode” on your phone or go to google and type “Google Classroom”. Then, you will be in Google Classroom (if you don’t have gmail account for Google, need to create) You will see “+” sign on the right at the top. Click that and choose “join class”. You will see the box to type Class code (ask your class teacher for code). Type the code and then click “join”. Finally, you will be in your teacher’s class. You will see what your teacher posted (test, assignment) when you click “Stream” or “Classwork”. You can see your teacher and classmates when you click “People”.
P.S : If you are already in class,
you don’t need to type class code later. You will see your class directly every time you go to Google Classroom.
