related research has been the conceptualization and measurement of
this technology.
The impact of IT on organizational performance will naturally vary
from organization to organization and industry to industry.
Information technology is defined as a system made up of various
elements consisting of:

• software;
• telecommunication network;
• work stations;
• robots; and
• smart chips.
