Modalities of Learning
Modular learning
involves individualized instruction that
allows learners to use self learning modules
( SLM) in print or digital format, whichever
is applicable in the context of the learner
.Learners can access learning resources like
learning materials, textbooks, activity sheets
and study guides.
Online Distance Learning
Features the teacher as the facilitator, engaging learners
active participation through the use of various
technologies accessed through the internet while they
are geographically remote from each other during
instruction. The internet is use to facilitate learner –
teacher and peer to peer communication. Online
learning allows live synchronous instruction . It
requires participants to have a good and stable internet
connection.

within the week. It was written by
selected teachers and supervisors in a way
it is easily understood by the learners.
SCHEDULE OF RELEASE and SUBMISSION of
SELF LEARNING MODULES

• Release of Modules will be every Friday of each week.


• Submission of completed modules in the previous week will
also be during Friday of each week.
• Online submission of outputs is also encouraged. Students just
need to coordinate with the subject teacher as to the preferred
platform of submission.

MODULAR APPROACH

• Prepare and distribute the modules per advisory class.


• Ensure that all students in the class were able to received the
needed materials for the week.
• Follow up with learners/ parents who are having difficulty in
completing the task required in the module.
• Identify students who are non complaint with the set task, and
intervene promptly.

• Plan the program and provide the link to access during the
session.
• Get to know the virtual classroom.
• Get to know the learners in the class.
• Prepare the content of the session.
• Prepare the physical environment .
• Ensure an active learning discussion
• Monitor students learning outcomes during and after the session.

and recognized that they are accountable for their
academic success.

COVID Prevention Protocol to Observe in School

Clean hands often using soap, or an alcohol based


hand rub.
Maintain a safe distance from anyone .
Wear mask at all times.
Refrain from touching eyes , nose and mouth.
Cover nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a
tissue when coughing and sneezing.
Stay home if you feel unwell.
