B2B model focuses on providing products from one
business to another. Many ecommerce businesses
models under this heading.

Examples : ExxonMobil, Boeing, Microsoft, Oracle,


Shell, DHL

B2C is conducted directly between a company and


consumers who are the end-users of the products or
services. Business is conducted online as opposed to
in a physical store.

Examples : Zalora, Tesco, Air Asia, Agoda, Amazon

C2C is a customer to customer, or consumer to


consumer business model that facilitates the
transaction of products or services between
customers.

Examples : Ebay, Craiglists, Mudah, Carousell

C2B or consumer to business is the most recent e-


commerce business model where the end consumers
create products and services which are consumed by
businesses and organizations.

Examples : Priceline, Upwork, Fiverr, Shutterstock


B2B2C is a collaboration process that creates mutually
beneficial service that combines business to business
(B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) for a complete
product or service transaction.

Examples : NIKON, HP, Bridgestone, Oracle, Shell,


DHL, Apple, MPay

O2O or online to offline commerce is where companies


attracts customers from online channels to physical
stores through online marketing strategies. It is also a
way to integrate digital and brick & mortar retail.

Examples : Airbnb, Fave, Uber, Grab, Alibaba

M-Commerce or mobile commerce, the use of


wireless devices such as phones and laptops to
conduct online transactions.
Mobile commerce transactions continue to grow
includes the purchase and sale of a wide range of
products and services, such as online banking, bill
payment and information delivery.

E-Gov (G2C, C2G, G2G, G2B, B2G and G2N)


is a whole new revolution for governments that makes
use of IT to provide citizen services. It involves serving
of citizens via technical mediums without running up to
the government. The solutions are known for making
life and government involved processes easier.

E-COMMERCE PAYMENT GATEWAY
A payment gateway is a service provided by an e-commerce application to authorizes credit card or direct
payments processing for e-businesses, online retailers and traditional brick and mortar. The payment gateway
may be provided by a bank to its customers, but can be provided by a specialised financial service provider as a
separate service, such as a payment service provider.

transactions while buying products from e-
commerce websites.

A payment gateway facilitates a payment transaction by the transfer of information between a payment portal
(such as a website, mobile phone or interactive voice response service) and the front end processor or acquiring
bank.
A financial arrangement where a third party holds and regulates payment of the funds required
for two parties involved in a given transaction. While the payment is 'In Escrow' the transaction
can be safely carried out without risk of losing money or merchandise due to fraud.
