GRADING
• PRESENTATION - 40% (class reporting and discussion)
• EXAMINATION - 30% (at least 2 examinations)
• FIELD WORK - 30% (to be arranged)
RULES

• Attendance will be checked and graded under laboratory. So it will have

only 15% of your overall grade. But this will decide 3.0 to 5.0. As much
as I hate mediocre effort, I also despise complacency or laxness.
• Late comers will be penalized by 50%.
• Be competitive with your outputs. Exerting great effort does not mean
satisfactory output. Ask for guidance.
• During class reporting or discussion, I will ask somebody to summarize
the report per topic.
• As much as I expect the best of you, I will also give the best of me. I
believe in 2-way communication. I encourage you to freely ask for
questions. And if you have nothing good to share, JUST BE QUIET.
CLASS REPORTING
Guidelines:
1. Do not make us read full paragraphs in your slides.
2. Cultivate our interest with images
3. Consistency is the key: background color and fonts
4. Look smart.
5. Prepare 45-55 minutes presentation.
6. Ice breakers would never hurt.
7. Light snacks will be appreciated.
