COTREL TRACTION
• Uses non-adhesive type materials like: canvas, slings
leathers and straps with buckles and laces.
• Uses canvass or cloth that is applied on the patient’s
skin.
• A kind of traction that uses combination of the head
halter and pelvic traction
• Used in Scoliosis.
PELVIC GIRDLE TRACTION
• Use non-adhesive type materials like: canvas,
slings leathers and straps with buckles and
laces.
• Applied like a girdle and connected to two
ropes with weights that hangs at the foot part
of the bed.
• Indicated for low back pain.
• For lumbo-sacracl affection, Herniated
Nucleus Purposus
