GENERAL QUESTIONS: MANAGER
• 1. How do you see the successful term and what will be your contribution to reach it?
For me, the term is successful when there are a lot of approves and when all the
teams(in this occasion managers themselves I guess) fulfill their monthly goals.
Furthermore, in my opinion, a successful term is not only about Eps and approvals, but also
about the personal development of managers, team members, even VPs. So, I think a term
with full of VP-manager meetings, strategy planning days can be considered as a successful
term
I think Covid-19 has seriously affected our AIESEC way, because we could only
work actively for a month and due to the restrictions about travelling etc., as an LC,
as an AIESEC Azerbaijan, we couldn’t fulfill our goals for the term. Even the approved
EPs had to postpone their GV, GE experiences. Although, if the situation continues
for the next term, we will definitely go on online. I think that we will have all our
meetings online and we will switch our foreign country projects to local ones. I’ve
already though about how to communicate with the EPs, how to convince them by
thinking about the benefits of local projects, so I don’t think that the ongoing
situation will be a problem for me.
• 4. Write down your weaknesses and strengths.
Threats: Switching to the local projects because of the virus can cause reduction
in the number of sign ups.
• What do you like about LC Baku Khazar the
most?
I like the feeling of belonging to such a
community and I like the way how people in
this LC treat each other, have each other’s
back and always ready for help. Other than
that, it is amazing that even we have lots of
titles, this does not lead to stratification,
everyone here is so genuine. Among all of this,
it is so enjoyable developing yourself, your
language abilities in such a sincere
atmosphere.
• 1. How do you envision to make approvals in OGV
department during these period?
FUNCTIONAL First of all, we should think about how to arrange
sessions with the customers during this period. It will
QUESTIONNA probably be online. Second, we should open more
RIE: oGV projects in our country which I believe iGV’s work,
because in my opinion, most people haven’t even
Manager travelled in our own country, so this will be a great
opportunity for those people. Next, I think that we
should decrease the time period of local projects to 3-4
weeks. For the ones who want to have an experience
abroad, we can choose summer 21’ projects( I think
that until that time the issues about Covid-19 will be
solved).
2. What kind of strategy or action steps 3. What do you think, how we can keep
we can make in order to achieve our partnership strong with other LCs?
goals locally and nationally? What do we need for this?
• I think that we should convince people • Well, I think that we should
about the next summer projects, so gather(online probably) once a month
that when the projects open again, we to discuss our monthly works,
will be able to have enough applies to struggles, difficulties etc. to help each
reach our goals. Furthermore, my other and to thrive for the excellence.
answer to the previous question can
also be the answer to this question.
• 4. How do you think, in which points our function has to collaborate
with B2C and B2B department?
It is obvious that a part of our applies come from B2C and B2B
departments, so we should collaborate with them in attraction part.
• 5. Why oGV?
First of all, I think that I have more experience in this function than
others, so I believe that I will be successful as a manager. Secondly, I feel
like this is the best function for me to develop and challenge myself. I
know that I will never stop until I derive satisfaction from my result.
