Food festival

 A food festival is a festival, usually held annually, that uses food,


often produce, as its central theme. These festivals have always been
a means of uniting communities through celebrations of harvests and
giving thanks for a plentiful growing season.

Night of the Radishes
The Night of the Radishes (Noche de Los Rábanos in Spanish) is an annual event in the city of
Oaxaca, Mexico, dedicated to the carving of oversized radishes to create scenes that compete
for prizes in various categories.

 Vitamin C is in abundance in the French town of Menton on the
French Riviera of southeast France in this festival that takes place for
three weeks every year, usually across February and March. The 145
tones of local lemons and oranges are used to decorate the city,
though, rather than being eaten.
Cheese-Rolling Festival
 Cooper's Hill Cheese Rolling Festival in Gloucestershire,
south west England. A wild festival of steep hills, a heavy
dairy product and plenty of injuries. Cheese is sent rolling
down the hill, and competitors then start racing down the hill after it.
The first person over the finish line at the bottom of the hill wins the
cheese.
 Galway Oyster Festival
 The Galway International Oyster Festival is a food festival held
annually in Galway on the west coast of Ireland on the last weekend
of September, the first month of the oyster season.
