There are exciting career opportunities for people with a
variety of backgrounds, experiences, skills, talents, and
personalities.

Early travelers relied upon the hospitality of others who
opened their doors and gave them a place to stay and a meal
Entrepreneurs saw an opportunity and built facilities offering
dining or lodging or both
The industrial age led to people having more leisure time and
disposable income
Henry Ford built the Model T, which was the first affordable
car for the average family.
