• Weather : Comfortable till Mid December

• Visa : Italians are slow. Do apply in advance
• Connectivity : Intra city – Trams, subway and buses.
Inter City – Trains from Milan Central. Reservation required but
cheaper than France. Ryan Air to major locations
• Eurail : Must Have – Really useful in all your travels

 Indian stores and restaurants around Porta Venezia
 Carry loads of RTE from India
• Acco :
 Campus acco is very expensive, Airbnb is way cheaper
 Opt for no acco also if you can drop luggage in the first 2 months
• Must Haves : Italian pizza and coffee!!!
• Overall Cost : Within 5 lakhs
• Safety : Milan in extremely safe overall. Be careful in metros and near
central area

• Not HEPP friendly as exams for exchange students happen in Dec

• Residence permit of ~150 euros is compulsory
• Visa is D type, long term in nature (> 90 days). Apply as soon as
possible
• No scholarships offered by Italian govt., embassy or university
