Static system calculations
For this analysis, the center of gravity of the
system specified in the product modeling is
taken in order to find the mass distribution on
the axes. Calculations were performed for
a 120 kg driver and a 110 N. weight bike.

CONCLUSIONS

The results of the simulation analyses allowed us to find flaws and problems in our design, feeding back it and this
helped us to make determinations such as:

 Put a reinforcement in the structure of the scissors in the area where the greatest efforts were presented, welding a
platen on the inner face of this in order not to interfere with the design line.

 Reinforcements in certain parts of the folding system, change material in these parts (one more resistant).

 The folding system as a solution to the transport and storage of the prototype is a feature with which the product
is added value, and that in turn, does not detract from the rigidity guaranteeing the safety of the pilot and the good
performance of the product when practicing the sport.
