History of Valdosta state university: it was established in 1906 in
Valdosta, Georgia. It was called south Georgia state normal
college. In 1913 the college began a two-year teaching college
and was an all female school until 1950, when the name was
changed to Valdosta state college.
The Reason I Chose This College
• The main reason I really like this
school, because they where the first
person that ever sent me something
from a college, and that mans
something to me.
• They give you a free wild adventures

• Tuition in state is 6,583.
• To live on campus the price is 4,120.
• The average meal coast is 3,840.

Admission Requirements
• To qualify for VSU you must have a 17 Math sub-score AND 17
English or Reading sub-score On your ACT
• Or you can also get in with an Evidence-Based Reading & Writing
Score of 480 AND Math Score of 440 on your SAT.
Greek Life
• Valdosta state has a range of sororities and frats.
• They have a range from College Paneled Council to National
Pan-Hellenic Council
• Including
• Alpha Delta Pi
• Alpha Sigma Alpha
• Chi Omega
• Zeta Tau Alpha
• Valdosta state university has won five
national championships in football alone.
• Basketball won a national championship
too.
