Park GÜell • Park Güell is a public park with gardens and architectural elements located in the upper part of the city of Barcelona, in the foothills of the Collserola mountain range. The park is located on the southern slope of Mount Carmelo and adjacent to the north slope where Carmelo Park is located. Conceived as an urbanization, the park was designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism, commissioned by the businessman Eusebi Güell. it was inaugurated as a public park in 1926. Batllo House • Casa Batlló is a building designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, the highest representative of Catalan modernism. It is a comprehensive remodeling of a previously existing building on the site, the work of Emilio Sala Cortés. It is located at number 43 of Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona, the wide avenue that crosses the Ensanche district (Eixample), in the so- called Manzana de la Discordia, because in addition to this building it houses other works by modernist architects: Casa Amatller, adjacent to Gaudí's, the work of Josep Puig i Cadafalch; the Lleó Morera House, the work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner; the Mulleras House, by Enric Sagnier; and the Casa Josefina Bonet, by Marceliano Coquillat.
