45% of total energy consumed at ITC's Paperboards & Specialty Papers Divisions units bio waste, solar
and wind sources
The Bhadrachalam Unit - India's largest integrated pulping and paper mill - uses industrial bio waste like
black liquor used to generate thermal power.
Boiler fuel for the Kovai Unit - a waste paper based pulp and paper mill - is made from locally sourced
chips/sawdust and de-oiled bran.
Several of ITC's factories, premium luxury hotels and the ITC Infotech Park in Bengaluru meet close to
100% of their electricity requirements from renewable energy.
More than 60% of total electrical energy demand of ITC's super-premium luxury hotels is met through
renewable energy sources.
The super-premium luxury hotel in New Delhi, ITC Maurya, has an on-site Paraboloid Solar Concentrator
to cater to the entire steam and hot water requirements
All ITC super-premium luxury hotels are LEED Platinum certified

More than 60% of total electrical energy demand is met through
