Location

• Located in the province of Veraguas, 50 kilometers from the Inter-American

• is part of a forest reserve to guard the watershed of Laguna de La Yeguada. This gap provides
hydraulic power to the hydroelectric La Yeguada
 La Yeguada is a forest reserve and is under the ANAM control. There are guards at
the entrance to charge admission to the park.

 The catchment area of the stud farm is 638 km2, located in La Yeguada Forest
Reserve of 70.9 km2. The average depth of the lake is 5.2 meters, with a maximum
of 6.5 meters.
