PROBLEM STATEMENT
In metro cities like Pune, Mumbai, Delhi etc. air pollution is a very large
and harmful concern. It is noticeable that in the area of traffic signals
most vehicles while restarting or in ideal condition produce lot of
exhaust gases which travel certainly upwards and gets mixed with air.
Hence resulting in increasing in AQI level. To reduce this AQI level , Air
pollution controlling device or setup is necessary.
Literature Review
I. Byeong Kyu Lee et.al :
• Removal of PM by Turbulent scrubber
• PM greater than 1um and less than 1um
• Pressure drop and head theories

I. Bashir Ahmad Dnzomo et.al :

• Studied different ranges of PM by Pilot scrubber
• 5um and 10um (99.98%)
• lowest at 200um droplet size
III. Akshey Bhargava etal :
• Spray tower
• Increased efficiency

IV. Faraz Ahmad etal:

• Experimented on flue gases and PM

V. Alessandro Avveduto etal:

• Experimented in fiberglass industry (3 stage)
• volatile compound reduction (40%)
