Yosemite National Park

During my last winter vacation, I went to Yosemite National Park with my parents and my sister. We
took a flight from Guadalajara to Los Angeles, then we took a bus to my uncle’s house in San
Francisco.
We spent a week in San Francisco and three days in Yosemite Park.

THE ROAD TO
YOSEMITE
We went to Yosemite by car. It takes 3
hours to get there from San
Francisco.

National Park is beautiful. There are
mountains, rivers and waterfalls.

When we arrived at the park, we took
a narrated tour.

A guide gave us a tour and explained

us the history of the place.

YOSEMITE FALLS
This is a popular attraction in the park
and it is the tallest waterfall in North
America.

FISHING AND
HIKING
We rented a cabin near the lake. The
cabin was nice and calm, but I didn’t
like it because there were a lot of
mosquitos!

There are different activities for all

ages, like boating, fishing, sailing and
swimming.

My cousins were very happy, they

went fishing and took pictures.

We went hiking to see the spectacular
view of Yosemite Falls.

I love walking in the woods because

it’s a fun and relaxing activity. When
we stopped to take some pictures, we
saw a family of black bears!

MY FAMILY
This is a picture of my family. My
cousins have a dog, his name is
Hanks.

I loved that the park is pet-friendly. I

think it’s a fun place for families. I
recommend you go to Yosemite Park
for your next vacation!
