 Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin (born 7 October 1952) 
is a Russian politician.
 Russia's current president since 7 May 2012 and
previously held the position from 2000 to 2008. 
 From 1999 until the start of his first presidency in 200
0, he was Russia's Prime Minister.

■ Big time dog lover. He named his Bulgarian Shepherd dog.
