DROP SHADOW EFFECT – This kind of effect enables you to make the layer look like it has been raised up from the image canvass. HOW CAN THIS BE DONE? 1. INNER SHADOW EFFECT - Are shadows within your image. EDITING APPLIED EFFECTS • You can edit your effects by doing the following steps: 1.Select the layer with an applied layer effect. 2. Go to Layer Menu, then select Layer styles and then select Blending options. LOCKING LAYER EFFECT • This will prevent other from making changes to your layer effects. • This is helpful to avoid accidents that may change your design. • How can this be done? • Select layer and then choose the lock icon in the panel and to unlock just click the icon again. APPLYING STYLES • You can apply pre – defined Photoshop effects from the combination of layer effects. • This feature gives your work a colorful and textured look.
