My attempt a Magazine cover
Analysis of my magazine cover

Masthead – inspired by the Billboard masthead being a simple big blocky font with the color in the letters making it a
bit more unique and the composition being at the top on display but also out of the way not covering anything. The
magazine name "Movement" was chosen as its one big word like most magazines the word movement can be linked to
music and dancing and also have a double meaning with the word movement suggesting something big and important

The cover was inspired by some billboard magazines and some rolling stones magazines have a simple close up of the
main artist being featured being the only focus of the cover having a photo of Donald Glover or Childish Gambino a
pop/hip hop artist being the only focus

I was inspired by a specific billboard cover featuring Chance The Rapper where it was a simple close up of him in front
of a simple yellow/orange gradient background

The tagline "A name everybodies gonna know" was inspired  by taglines from
Billboards Drake cover having the tagline "The new face of hip hop" and
The rolling stones Kendrick Lamar cover having the tagline
"The greatest rapper alive" being very cocky and giving the artists very
Prestigious titles I also used gonna instead of going to in order to make it more
colloquial so the customer may relate or feel more drawn to it, potentially
Helping with the youth audience.

The text on the cover talking about other things featured in the issue I made
intentionally baiting and eye-catching by using big celebrity names and intriguing
articles like gossip or 'industry secrets'.

The barcode is just there to make it look more real and professional.
