Definition

an expression that is disclosed


when there is someone who wants
to ask other persons to come to a
place or when there is someone who
asks others to do something for
him/her.
There are many situations that probably
happened in our daily life, such as meeting,
birthday party, graduation party etc. of
course, we have to make an invitation for our
guests. There will be two answers for them
who are invited by us, they may come or
accept the invitation and they may not come
or decline the invitation. The situation will be
divided into formal and informal. There is
differences expression that  is  use in the
different context of situation.

Hanami : My Friend is going to celebrate his wedding party
tonight. He invited me and I don’t want to go alone. I don’t
know with whom I should go there. Would you like to
accompany me, Dhea?
Dhea : I would love too, but what time?
Hanami : How about at seven o’clock? I’ll pick you up.
Dhea : Ok that’s fine.
Hanami : Thank’s, Dhea you’re very kind.
In decline invitation

mifta is very busy doing his homework. Fitri , his friend calls him for
asking to come to her party.

Agnes : Hello, this is mutmainah . May I speak to Mifta?


mutmainah: Hello, agnes is speaking now.
Agnes : Oh, hi Mifta. I wonder if you’d like to come to my
house right now. We’re having a great party.
Mutmainah : I don’t think I can. I’m doing my homework. My
parents won’t let me out before I finish my homework.
Agnes : That’s alright.
Mutmainah : I hope you enjoy your party Fitri. Bye.
Agnes : It is okay Mutmainah. Bye.
