What are the Benefits of Chromebooks
-Every Student will have their own login that can be used on the schools chromebook
program.

-Saving things under one Chromebook will save it under the others as well, so it makes it
more difficult to lose work.

-Having Chromebooks accessible like this makes it easier for students who do not have
access to technology at home get done what they need to.
What is This Technology?
-A chromebook is a small computer system.

-Its purpose is to store data and information online instead of directly to the computer.
This is helpful in classroom settings so students can more easily access their work they did
during class at home, and so they do not lose their work.

-Chromebooks link up to google accounts to save students work faster and more
efficently.
How Can This be Used in the Classroom?
-Students will be able to access internet during class time. Students who do not have
access to technology at home will have more access at school, and will even be able to
check chromebooks out to take them home.

-Chromebooks can be used for things like essays, powerpoints, group projects, and even
just computer programs and websites students can use for educational purposes.
The Pros of this Technology!
-Group Projects will be much easier to make and grade. You get to see who did what and
students get to work with each other from their own homes.

-Students who would normally not have access to this technology at home will have more
opportunities open up for them. (Will be helpful overall for grades)

- Work gets automatically saved so losing documents will not have to be worried about.
The Cons of This Technology
-It will be very expensive for schools to afford to get chromebooks in most classrooms.

-It will be difficult for teachers to make sure every student is staying on task and not going
on things they are not suppose to or should not be.
