Manners past and present

Niculiţa Ina DFT208

Good manners are something inside - an innate sense of consideration for others and
self-respect.
An Indian proverb says that
"Flowers are required to be perfumed, and man is required to be polite
Politeness has been and is indispensable to every person, in any society. From time immemorial, man
has been interested in having laws that forbid evil deeds and punish them, urging good deeds and
behaviors. Respect and care for others must always dominant in human relationships.
Code of Good Manners Today - Rules of Good Manners in Society
table manners
1.Do not keep your elbows on the table.
2.Eat with your mouth closed.
3. We do not talk with food in your mouth.
4. Put the napkin on his knees
With the beginning of its social existence, humanity has imposed norms of behavior
in all essential areas of life: food and clothing, relations between the sexes, relations
between inferiors and superiors, correspondence, receiving guests, etc.
The behavior prescribed on these occasions was coded in precise rules; and not
respecting them means excluding yourself from your social category. At all times, in
all kinds of human groups, politeness has been indispensable to living together, even
if customs differed from country to country. For example, in Germany, women's
hands are no longer kissed, but the habit of being almost obsessive has expanded.
The code of good manners is a means to communicate with
others, it is a facility to display sympathies and dislikes, to get in
touch with others around us without aggression, to go around the
world without disturbing others. Although there are many rules to
follow, we must strive to follow all, or at least some of them,
strictly, as they are a kind of unwritten laws that must be treated as
such. My opinion is that all people should be aware of the
important role that good manners play in the life of any person
who respects himself and wants to be respected, and probably
most of them want this.
In conclusion, manners are what represent us, and without
which you cannot assert yourself as a personality in a
modern society!
Manners are a mirror in which everyone shows their face.
