Definitions

• Thoughtful: Someone who is kind and always thins about how he/she can help
other people.
• Well-organized: Someone who is not good at planning or organizing things.
• Disorganized: Someone who is not good at planning or organizing things.
• Critical: Someone who says that a person or a thing is bad or wrong.
• Unreliable: Someone who is not able to be trusted or believed.
• Irresponsible: Someone who is not thinking enough or not worrying about the
possible results of what you do.
• Sympathetic: Someone who shows, especially by what they say, that they
understand and care about someone else´s suffering.

• Competitive: Someone who wants very much to win or be more successful than
other people.
• Optimistic: Someone who has a positive thought towards things.
• Realistic: Someone who accepts things as they are in fact and doesn’t make
decisions based on unlikely hopes for the future.
• Unrealistic: Someone who has a wrong idea of what is likely to happen or of
what you can really do; not based on facts.
• Adventurous: Someone who is willing to try new or difficult things.
• Cautious: Someone who avoids risks.
• Ambitious: Someone who has a strong wish to be successful, powerful or rich.

Definitions
• Carbon footprint:  The amount of carbon dioxide pollution that we produce as
a result of our activities.
• Solar energy: The energy that uses the power of the sun to produce electricity.
• Climate change: It is the change in the world’s weather, in particular the fact
that it is believed to be getting warmer as a result of human activity increasing
the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
• The Earth’s atmosphere: It’s a mixture of gases that surrounds our home
planet.
• Global warming: A gradual increase in world temperaturas caused by gases
such as carbon dioxide that are collecting in the air around the earth and
stopping heat escaping into space.

• Ecological impact: The effects left on organisms and their environment due to
actions made by humans and natural occurrences. 
• Fragile environment: A natural environments that is sensitive to, and easily
abused by human activities.
• Environmentally friendly: Something that has no or the least possible impact on
the environment
• Rough environment: A habitat that is considered very hard to survive in due to
its considerably extreme conditions such as temperature, accessibility to
different energy sources or under high pressure.
