**. Correlation is significant at the 0.01 level (2-tailed).

Correlations
INTERPRETATION: From the above table we can see that Pearson
correlation value is .8 which means that correlation is very strong as it is
near 1. Further as the value is positive which shows that as the value of
one variable moves in positive direction other also moves in same
direction.
H0: There is no linear relationship between both the variables.
H1: There is linear relationship between both the variables.
So as in this table we can see that p value which is 0.000 is less than 0.01 22
so data is significant further we will reject null hypothesis and accept
alternative hypothesis

FINDINGS

25
FINDING AND SUGGESTIONS

• Mostly people are not aware about mutual fund so They only see it as just another
investment option. So the advisors should try to change their mindsets
• Mutual Fund company needs to give the training of the individual financial advisors
about the fund/scheme and its objective, because they are the main source to
influence the investors
• Younger people aged 30 - 40 will be a key new customer group into the future, so
making greater efforts with younger customers who show some interest in investing
should pay off
• Major target population belongs to age group of 30 to 40 years of age as its mode is
114 and minimum was from age group of 20 – 30 years of age. Major target
population who have invested in mutual funds belongs to age group of 40-50 years
and secondly is from age group of 30-40 years with mode 23.
• Major target population who have invested in mutual funds are males with total
number of 31 and female with total number of 21.
• Major target population who have invested in mutual funds are employed with
26

total number of 26 and minimum are students with total number of 3.

• In this modern era people are more influenced by the use of mobile application so a
mobile application of the company’s portal should be made. As nowadays people
are more inclined towards mobile phone. They all spend most of their time using
mobile phone, furthermore mobile application are suitable to use.
• The portal still need some improvement as some new business partner complained
that although their code was generated still they were not able to access the portal
due to some technical issues.
• The company should focus towards increasing their penetration in the rural areas as
the company’s competitors like NJ and Prudent have still not increases their
business over there so our company still have great opportunity to reduce this gap.
As in the rural areas most of the people still think that saving accounts and fixed
deposits as the only way of investment. So with the increase in awareness towards
mutual funds and easy internet access one can tap the potential and also promote
mutual funds in the untouched areas.
