IOS: 13.6.1 Where to find accessibility: 1. Cut the phone on and unlock the screen. 2. Find the Setting App on the screen. 3. After clicking settings look for the line that says accessibility and click on it. Accessibility screen: On the Accessibility screen you will see four categories vision, physical and motor, hearing, and general. These features can help everyone to be able to utilize the device. We will focus on a couple important ones to help the students utilize the device. Vision and Physical and Motor: Under the Vision tab you will see: ● Voice Over- this will speak the items on the screen here you can turn the speech on where the Iphone will read what is on the screen. (Click VOICEOVER ON) ● Vision also offers a display and text feature that will allow you to set the size of text and screen to a bigger font. (Click BOLD & LARGER TEXT) Under the physical and motor tab you will see: ● Touch- this will help to allow one to use the iphone if touching the screen is difficult and requires a different accessory. (Click ASSISTIVE TOUCH to ON) ● Voice control- will allow one to use their voice to control the device. (Click SET UP VOICE CONTROL) Hearing and General: Under the Hearing tab you will see: ● Audio and Visual: this will allow the balance of the speakers playing the same content. (Click MONO AUDIO ON) ● Subtitles and Captioning: Will provide subtitles and captions for those who do not hear well or need to read the caption while listening. (Click CLOSED CAPTIONS + SDH to ON) Under the General tab you will see: ● SIri: This feature will listen to voice input when holding the home button. (Click TYPE TO SIRI to ON)
