Beginning of the holiday
 Easter holidays are filled with light and faith in the miracle of
the Resurrection of the Son of God. Because tradition calls for
the Easter customs to praise the sacrifice of God's Son. In
these days, we gather with our families, prepare rich nouns,
and express our gratitude to God.Let me join the preparations
for the upcoming festive days.
Painting the eggs
 The painting of eggs began many years before the new era.The
egg is a symbol of life, the renewal of nature .Easter eggs are
dyed early in the morning on Holy Thursday, and for late ones on
Holy Saturday. The first egg is dyed red and crosses the
forehead of the youngest in the home. The red color symbolizes
the Savior's blood. The first red egg is stored in the family until
the next Easter when it is replaced with a new one.
The preparation of the sweet
bread “kozunak”
 The sweet bread we eat at Easter. They are a favorite dessert for
small and large, and the shape and recipes are the choice of the
hostess. During the Easter holidays in every Bulgarian home on the
table there is a basket of eggs and pieces of kozunak. When they are
visiting, people carry these symbols on the holiday and swap their
eggs.
Easter Lamb Feast
 The Easter festive table does not go without juicy lamb, because on
the day when Jesus rises, a lamb has been sacrificed. In the Biblical
world, these animals were considered a symbol of purity, so they
were the main element of sacrifice.
