STAR-SYSTEM OF HOTEL

STANDARDIZATION
Hotel classification is used to harmonize standards to ensure that guests are informed
of the facilities offered by each hotel and not to be taken by surprise when arriving at
the hotel.

The evaluation reflects compliance with certain standards and criteria. This defines the
types of rooms, the type of equipment used, the standard of restaurants and bays, the
type of additional services (business centers, conference rooms, sports halls, etc.).

Standards for hotels vary from country to country, a star system that is not an
international standard. The same number of stars in different countries can meet
different standards. However, the same principle follows: most stars are more services
included in the standard room rate.
CONCLUSION
Before booking a hotel, decide what you want out of your trip. You’ll then be able to use the
hotel star ratings system to choose the best hotel for your excursion, as well as provide a good
benchmark for pricing.

The number of hotel stars indicates most often the level of services and facilities offered to
customers. However, in our country many times the number of stars is not equal to the quality
of the services offered.
