1. I find this dish a lot tastier than that one. And a lot healthier as well.
2. In my opinion, additives are (a lot/much) more dangerous than preservatives.
3. Obesity is one of the greatest problems nowadays.
4. Artificial flavourings are (a lot) worse than natural ones.
Degrees of comparison of adverbs
Easy + ly = easily
Conclusion (вывод)
1.Обращаем внимание, нужна сравнительная или превосходная степень:
- если сравниваются 2 пункта, есть слово than (чем), то сравнительная (-er/more);
- если 1 выделяется среди множества, часто of all (всех), то превосходная (-est/most).
2.В словах, заканчивающихся на согласный + y, при добавлении суффикса или окончания “y” меняется
на “i”: friendly – friendl-i-er (friendlier).
3. Часто наречие образуется от прилагательного и суффикса –ly: easy + ly = easily*
4. Когда сравниваемые вещи сильно отличаются, то можно добавить перед прилагательным/наречием в
сравнительной степени much, a lot (намного): a lot cheaper (намного дешевле).
